Wyoming2030 town hall series focuses on the immediate and longer-term challenges that children and families face. As Wyoming’s most important resource, young people are a critical part of Wyoming’s future success. This series will explore the particular challenges as children grow: birth through entry into the workforce and as they begin their own families. Participants will hear from developmental scientists, economists, leaders and innovators.
We’ll discuss how Wyoming communities can think differently about creating the conditions for young people and their families to learn, grow, and become contributors to Wyoming’s future. The first series will culminate with a youth forum where young people across Wyoming will share their vision for Wyoming’s future.
“…to go forward in the face of overwhelming odds is to risk failure. But risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing, is nothing.”
— Wyoming Senator, Alan Simpson
