About us —

Wyoming 2030 was born from necessity—one that’s rooted in people. The conversation will go on.

About

Wyoming2030 will seek to broaden the public education discourse. Education, however, is just the starting point. We seek a holistic approach, encompassing the trajectory from early childhood through young adulthood that results in flourishing communities that benefit all. This requires cultivating connections across communities to encourage long-term success for families and their children.

Wyoming 2030 defines long-term success for communities as having self-sufficient young people who believe in themselves and who mature into healthy, productive parents & citizens.  Youth are our state’s most important natural resource. As such, we consider a status quo attitude towards caring for and educating them as a detriment to the state’s future. What better time to ask: are we using all the tools at our disposal to help youth and their families to participate in this future? Any chance we could do better?

Our aim is not a one-year legislative wonder, but rather to build something long-term and enduring – to leave a legacy that sustains healthy and productive children. That legacy cannot be accomplished by ignoring challenges currently facing Wyoming’s communities.
